Beautiful Beginnings (6 weeks to 1 year):

In our Beautiful Beginnings Program, we are focused on keeping your baby happy, engaged, and secure. We personalize care for each infant based on his or her unique schedule, nutritional guidelines, and any other special attention he/she requires. Your baby’s primary caregiver is a nurturing child development professional who is focused on creating experiences aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards and opportunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that is occurring in your child’s first year. Warm and nurturing interactions with caregivers, days spent in a loving environment, individualized attention and experiences, and meaningful partnerships with parents are the goals of our curriculum for infants.

Babies on the Move (1 year to 18 months.):

Our Babies on the Move program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help your one to two year old learn about his or her expanding world. Through the guidance of our early childhood development professionals, mobile infants enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence. Experienced teachers promote emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment with activities that are aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards.

Toddler Town (18 months.- 3 years):

The diverse developmental needs of two-year olds are met in two separate programs: Young Toddler and Older Toddler. We see the toddler years as a time to support young children’s growing sense of self and to help prepare them for preschool. Through play and exploration, we foster children’s emerging abilities in all areas, specifically content areas of Rhode Island’s Early Learning and Development Standards: physical health and motor development, social and emotional development, language development, cognitive development, literacy, mathematics, science, and creativity. With our warm nurturing approach, we help toddlers take those initial steps towards independence.

Little Explorers Preschool (3 to 5 year olds):

Children three- to five-years old are enrolled in one of two programs: Preschool or Pre-K. Our preschool program is filled with investigation, exploration, and discovery, where active and enthusiastic children can refine and expand their skills and knowledge. Through intentional teaching practices, purposefully-designed learning environments, and enriched activities aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning Development Standards, teachers ensure preschoolers have joyful, appropriate, and meaningful learning experiences that lead to success in school and in life. Our curriculum aligns preschool program goals and practices with families’ expectations of educational excellence, helping young learners grow into confident students

Pre-K Prep for Kindergarten Program:

Our Kindergarten Prep Pre-K program helps children advance skills in core pre-academic areas such as literacy, math, and science, as well as in other essential areas such as art, social and emotional well-being, and health and wellness. Our child-centered approach, aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards, ensures that children are exposed to a diverse variety of learning activities and that they thrive in all areas of child development, creative thinking, complex problem solving, empathetic collaboration, curious investigation, and decision making.

The Nested Academy Kindergarten Program:

Our Kindergarten program is licensed by the Department of Education and implements a comprehensive curriculum incorporating the Common Core Standards of Rhode Island. We offer a full day program with certified teachers, small class sizes, and excellent child/teacher ratios. Our comprehensive curriculum places a clear emphasis on development of strong language, reading and writing abilities, and math skills essential for ongoing success in school and life. We provide a student-centered learning environment that incorporates the academic expectations of local and state curriculum standards so children make a successful and seamless transition to school.
