Happy New Year and welcome to the month of January!

 

The school will be closed on Tuesday December 31st and Wednesday January 1st in the celebration of the New Year. We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Children attend to. Understand, and respond to increasingly complex language. We will be working on some sign language.

 

Children notice and discriminate the sounds of spoken language. We will be learning new nursery rhymes for winter.

 

 

Family Engagement: Sending home winter hats cut outs to help your child decorate.

Classroom Special Events: ~ We will be having a classroom breakfast cooked by our friend Skylar’s Dad. Due to conflicting schedules, we needed to reschedule for this month. The new date coming!

Children explore the characteristics of objects and materials that are living non-living, man-made, or naturally occurring. We will talk about some animals that hibernate/migrate.

 

Children engage in positive relationships and interactions with other children. We will discuss Dr. King’s message of peace and how we promote his lessons today within our classroom.
