The staff at all three Stork’s Nest locations and the corporate office wish our families a safe Memorial Day weekend! We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday! The June newsletters should all be posted by the end of next week. We have some great events lined up for our summer programs.
Craft Time
We know that sometimes activities can be very important when explaining to children what a holiday is celebrating. Below are a few links to some awesome crafts you can incorporate into your weekend with your children:

The weather is supposed to be a little rainy on Sunday and Monday, maybe these crafts will be the perfect addition for your indoor activities.
Outdoor Music Garden
The locations are going to be building outdoor music gardens for the kids to pay. In order to do this, we need your help! We are asking for donations of old pots, pans, lids or anything kitchen related that makes noise when you bang on it. Please do not provide any glass items as we will not be able to utilize them. If you have anything that you would like to donate, you can drop it off to the office or to your child’s teacher. We would like the donations soon so we can start to build the music garden and have it to enjoy for the entire summer.
If you have any ideas of new items that we can incorporate in the centers to allow for different centers of play or education, please let the director or one of the teachers know, we welcome the input from families that currently attend the schools and appreciate your help in any way.
